Drive-it-Day Run 23rd April 2023 – The Valley, Evesham to The Dodford Inn, Dodford.

The FBHVC Drive-it-Day Run was the first Club Run this Spring and the sun managed to shine for most of the day, although the rain was threatening when we started the run after leaving The Valley. Most of us were sat outside in the sunshine to enjoy our Pork Baps (and very good too), however I heard reports that the ‘Sunday Lunch’ diners in the restaurant had a bit of a wait to be served, I hope the food was good. The pub was a wonderful setting looking out over the gardens and the field allowed us to have a fine display of our 24 cars, with a few ‘extras’ who were very welcome. Nick & Philippa did a great job with all the organising and found some lovely roads for us to trundle along. we were surprised that we didn’t see any other cars out for a Drive-it-Day run but lots of cyclists!! A great day out, thanks Nick & Philippa, let’s hope Summer comes soon.
